Pyongyang, Feb 11 (Prensa Latina) The first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raul Castro Ruz, and President Miguel Diaz-Canel stressed the endearing friendship between the Caribbean island and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), local media reported on Thursday.
In a letter sent to the president of State Affairs of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, Raul Castro and Diaz-Canel thanked the maximum leader of the sister Asian nation for his warm congratulations on the 62nd anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
Endearing friendship and reciprocal solidarity have guided and will continue to lead the future of bilateral relations, the Cuban leaders said in the letter, which was published here by KCNA on Thursday.
In the text, Raul Castro and Diaz-Canel repeated 'the invariable decision' of continuing to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations, and sent 'the testimony of our highest consideration and esteem.'
