Russia's increases agricultural exports to Cuba by 20% in 2024 - Agriculture Ministry

Russian exports of agricultural products to Cuba grew by 20.1% in value in 2024, the Agriculture Ministry said after negotiations between Deputy Agriculture Minister Maxim Titov and Cuban Deputy Agriculture Minister Telse Abdel Gonzalez Morera.
Bilateral trade in agricultural products between the two countries grew by 13.4%. Russia's main agricultural exports included wheat and vegetable oil, Titov said.
Russia and Cuba are continuing cooperation on veterinary and phytosanitary oversight. Cuba has accredited Russia's system of state veterinary oversight of poultry meat, pork, beef and dairy products.
The countries are also cooperating on implementing electronic certification of controlled animal products and integrating information systems.
