Cuba reports 29 new Covid -19 cases and 31 patients recovered

In addition, 15 of the 29 positive cases were asymptomatic, the text refers.

The country accumulates a total of 6,595 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2, the pathogen that causes Covid-19.

The new cases belong to the provinces of Pinar del Río (11), Artemisa (11), Sancti Spíritus (four), Ciego de Ávila (two) and Las Tunas (one).

On the other hand, with the 31 medical discharges granted this Sunday, the island reaches a total of 6,229 recovered patients, 91.4 percent of all patients since the beginning of the pandemic in national territory, last month of March.

During the day no deaths are reported and the figure remains at 128 deaths due to the disease.

To date, 436 patients remain active with Covid-19, of them 431 with stable clinical evolution; while one person is critical and four serious.

This October 25, seven thousand 979 samples were studied in all the molecular biology laboratories of the country, and Cuba thus reaches 800 thousand 197 real-time PCR carried out during almost eight months of the pandemic.

At the close of this Sunday, 3,623 patients are admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance, of them: 751 suspects and 2,436 patients under surveillance.
