The 2nd International Conference "With All and for the Good of All" is being held here as a forum of plural thought that has brought together delegates from 50 countries to debate the challenges and problems in today''s world. The meeting is taking place at Havana's Convention Center with participation of more than 700 delegates interested in Cuban National Hero Jose Marti's ideas about the construction of a better world and in light of the serious dangers that humanity is facing.

On Wednesday, the delegates will work in commissions, master lectures will be given and two panels of experts will be held to analyze the topics "Jose Marti and Fidel Castro: Continuity of Thought and Action" and "Cuba and Our South".

At the same time, according to the program of the event, a youth forum on the validity and universality of Jose Marti's thought will be held, and a Special Commission will meet to discuss "Solidarity with All and for the Good of All".

In that Commission, the Five Cuban Heroes (Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, Rene Gonzalez and Fernando Gonzalez, who were unjustly held in US prisons for more than a decade for warning against violent anti-Cuba actions promoted and organized by terrorist groups in that country) are expected to participate.

In addition, books and magazines on the life and work of the Cuban Apostle will be launched, including the text "Sin Amores", by Mexican author Alfonso Herrera Franyutti, who last year won the Jose Marti International Award, granted by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and who will receive it tomorrow.

Called under the influence of the lucid ideas of Cuban National Hero and revolutionary Jose Marti (1853-1895) and in the context of his 163rd birthday, the International Conference aims to contribute to building the thought and action to face the multiple and complex problems of the 21st century.
