Cuba's President regrets the death of Queen Elizabeth II

Havana, September 8 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today mourned the death of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom at the age of 96.
"It is with deep regret that we have learned of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. On behalf of the Cuban people and government, I express my deepest condolences to His Royal Highness, Prince Charles, the rest of the Royal Family, and the British people and government," the President said on Twitter.
On the same platform, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez also sent his condolences for the monarch's death.
Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, the second daughter of King George V, was crowned on June 2, 1953, and retained the longest reign in recent history (about 70 years).
