Cuban President and Hungarian Foreign Minister meet for talks

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel received today the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, with whom he discussed the prospects of bilateral ties.
On his Twitter account, the president reported on the meeting and pointed out that ‘we reaffirmed the willingness to continue strengthening bilateral relations.
We exchanged on the potentialities to diversify the links between both countries in sectors of mutual interest’.
Péter Szijjártó arrived this Wednesday in Cuba on an official visit, the second he has made to the island since his appointment, this time as part of a tour of several nations of the American Continent.
Upon his arrival, he was received by Angel Villa Hernandez, director a.i. of Bilateral Affairs, and Gisela Garcia Rivera, director of Europe and Canada of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
During his stay, he is expected to hold official talks with his Cuban counterpart, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, among other activities.
