Approximately 54,000 fans attended the final concert of South Korean artist J-Hope’s solo world tour, Hope on the Stage, bringing the total number of attendees to 524,000, according to an announcement released Sunday by his agency, BigHit Music.
J-Hope, a member of the K-pop group BTS, concluded his solo tour with two performances on Friday and Saturday at Goyang Stadium, located in the city of the same name in northwestern South Korea.
The tour kicked off this past February with a concert at the Olympic Park Stadium in eastern Seoul, as J-Hope focused on his solo career while most of his bandmates fulfilled their mandatory military service.
BTS members Jin and Jungkook made guest appearances during Friday’s performance, while the remaining members—RM, Suga, Jimin, and V—were in attendance as part of the audience.
Over the course of four months, J-Hope held 33 concerts across 16 cities worldwide, according to BigHit Music.
BTS is now preparing for a group comeback following a nearly three-year hiatus due to military service obligations.
J-Hope and Jin completed their service in 2023 and have since concentrated on their solo careers while awaiting the return of the other members.
RM completed his enlistment this past Tuesday, along with fellow member V. Jungkook and Jimin followed suit the next day.
Suga is currently the only member still enlisted, serving as a public service worker due to health reasons. He is scheduled to complete his service on June 21, sparking widespread anticipation for the group’s return to the stage. BTS has been credited with significantly boosting the global popularity of K-pop.
