The Festival is a comprehensive project of theoretical, artistic, socio-cultural, and community events that promotes dialogue, exchange and solidarity. This celebration will have as central theme: Multiculturalism and alternative cultures.

Founded in 1545, Holguin is the region where the archaeological capital of Cuba, the largest aboriginal cemetery in Latin America, and the point of arrival of Christopher Columbus on October 28, 1492 are located. It is an ethnic melting pot with Iberian accent. This makes it the ideal setting for an Encounter of Cultures.

The main event in the festival include:

The 9th Ibero-American Congress of Thought;

The 7th Artistic Solidarity Brigades;

The Ibero-American Colloquium of Letters;

The Ibero-American Display of Fine Arts “Electa Arenal Huerta”

The Display of Ibero-American audiovisuals
