Vice Ministers from Cuba and Czech Rep Sign Agreement

Cuban vice minister of Foreign Affairs Rogelio Sierra Diaz and his Czech counterpart Martin Tlapa signed today a memorandum of understanding between the two countries to settle a cooperation framework.
The document also seeks to create a mechanism for future politic discussions and joint work for mutual benefit.
Tlapa expressed the willingness of his country to collaborate with Cuba in fields such as public health, agriculture, environment, energy, transportation, while highlighting the increasing amount of tourists visiting Cuba, accounting for 10,000 visits.
He also described the signing of the agreement as a step towards the consolidation of the ties between the two countries. The signing of the memorandum of understanding expresses the willingness of both countries to strengthen the political dialogue and economic cooperation.
