Cuban First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marcelino Medina, will visit today the province of Limpopo, where he will meet with Cuban collaborators who serve in South Africa. Medina will also be received by the premier of the South African province Limpopo, Stanley Mathabatha, and other local authorities.
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs met yesterday with South Africa's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, who reiterated the decision of her country to remain side by side with Cuba in the fight to end the blockade imposed by the United States.
Maite Nkoana-Mashabane called for further strengthening the already established links between both countries.
Medina arrived on Friday in Pretoria in order to attend tomorrow the 13th South Africa-Cuba Joint Consultative Mechanism Meeting.
