6000 Chinese doctors ready, cases of coronavirus without symptoms

Beijing, Jan 28 (Prensa Latina) China on Tuesday mobilized six thousand physicians to fight coronavirus and pneumonia cases, while hardening the prevention of cases coming down with this disease without developing any symptoms such as fever, cough or fatigue.

The 6000 physicians came from all over the national territory and 4130 of them must arrive in a few hours in Hubei province and its capital Wuhan, in order to support the diagnosis and treatment of possible patients.

These health professionals were trained and will be joining military contingents settled down in that region.

China focuses on asymptomatic cases of the coronavirus (2019-nCoV), as specialists said they can hinder prevention and epidemiological control.

Li Xingwang, head of the Infectious Diseases Department at Ditan Hospital in Beijing, stated on Tuesday at a press conference that patients from different regions of China tested positive without first showing signs of infection.

China is on the trail of over five million people who left Wuhan and Hebei before quarantine, and may be possible Coronavirus carriers.

Wuhan Mayor, Zhou Xianwang, reported on Sunday that some of those individuals traveled for Lunar New Year vacations and others fleeing the epidemic.
