Venezuelan vice president received Cuban deputy prime minister

Caracas, Nov 10 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan Vice President of Public Works and Services Nestor Reverol met with Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ramiro Valdes, local media reported on Thursday.
On Instagram, Reverol, who is also the Minister of Electric Energy, informed that at the meeting, they discussed some aspects of the Venezuelan National Electric System that could be implemented in Cuba.
Reverol added that historic roots unite Cuba and Venezuela in the struggle for the integration of Latin American peoples, in the defense of sovereignty and independence, a purpose that continues today firmer than ever with President Nicolas Maduro.
Venezuelan Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez also met with Valdes on Wednesday to strengthen ties between both nations.
Both officials reviewed the state of relations in different areas, bilateral collaboration, as well as the regional and international situation.
Moreover, they reaffirmed their willingness to continue to strengthen the brotherhood and the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty, according to a press release from the Vice Presidency.
The communiqué noted that with this meeting Venezuela and Cuba are consolidating efforts to maintain and strengthen the Integral Cooperation Agreement signed by Fidel Castro (1926-2016) and Hugo Chavez (1954-2013).
