Cuba debuts today in the 2025 Eurasian Diving Cup

Four Cubans will compete today in the 2025 Eurasian Diving Cup, which gathers 40 athletes from six countries―Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Ecuador, Argentina and Cuba―in the Russian city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

Hugo Perez de Corcho, head coach of the national team, reported that the divers Frank Abel Rosales (3m springboard), Carlos Daniel Ramos and Bernardo Arias Peña (10m individual and synchronized platform), and Marta Castañeda (3m springboard) will be in action today.

The Cubans have set their sights on the May qualifiers in Medellin, Colombia, for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games of Asuncion, Paraguay, to be held on August 9 to 23.

Cuba won one silver and four bronze medals in the 2024 Eurasian Cup.
