Cuban health authorities explain procedures in pediatric cases of medical complexity

Publications in digital networks have reported in recent weeks the case of a 10-year-old Cuban boy who was treated in different health institutions in Havana, as part of the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases he suffers from.

Since March 12, at his mother's request, the patient was transferred to a hospital in Florida, reported Cubadebate.

In order to explain the procedures followed in Cuban institutions in cases of such medical complexity and, in line with the proven ethics and sensitivity of the Cuban health profession, authorities from the Juan Manuel Marquez Pediatric Hospital, the Institutes of Hematology and Immunology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, as well as the Ministry of Public Health appeared, Friday, after 7:15 am on Buenos Dias Magazine and after 8:00 am on Haciendo Radio.
