Tokyo, Jul 27 (Prensa Latina) Taekwondoka Rafael Alba, double world champion, defeated Chinese Hongyi Sun 5-4 for the bronze medal and placed Cuba on the medal table of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Ranked number three in the over 80 kilograms division, Alba showed fluency in his movements, hand and leg speed and precision in his attacks to defeat Su (12), who gave no respite in the cold Hall A of the Makuhari Messe.
