Russian air defense shot down 13 Ukrainian drones during the day

The anti-aircraft defense systems intercepted and annihilated in the last day 13 Ukrainian attack drones over two regions of the southwest of the country, the Russian Ministry of Defense informs today.
 
The military body’s Sunday report on its official Telegram page specifies that the anti-aircraft defense means in service shot down 12 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type over the territory of the Rostov region and one over the Belgorod region.

In its note, the Defense Ministry did not disclose the targets of these attacks, which it described as terrorists.

The institution emphasized that the number of drones launched by the Ukrainian military on the last day was significantly lower than in previous ones.

Russian provinces bordering Ukraine, such as Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh, as well as the Crimean peninsula, regularly report shell hits, drone raids, and other attacks from across the border, forcing the population to seek refuge elsewhere.

During the last months, Ukraine focused its drone attacks on refineries, fuel depots, and other facilities of the Russian oil industry, mainly in the border provinces, but also in more remote areas such as Nizhny Novgorod, Bashkortostan or Tatarstan.V
