Minister of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis receives Ambassador of Cuba on a courtesy call

Within the framework of the commemorations of the 29th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Saint Kitts and Nevis and Cuba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of this Federation, the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, who also heads the Ministries of Economic Development, International Trade, Investment, Industry and Trade, received ,a courtesy call by Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez, at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, both parties welcomed one more anniversary of a fraternal and unwavering relationship between their peoples and governments.

Additionally, they discussed topics on the bilateral agenda, not only at the political sphere, but also at the cooperation and economic levels. They also addressed new joint projects in the areas of agriculture and construction, while the possibility of other collaborations was mentioned, which could undoubtedly contribute to the benefit of both nations.

This meeting is part of the program of activities for the entire month of May, to commemorate the 29 years of diplomatic relations to be celebrated on the 10th.
