La Paz, Nov 10 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia's former President, Evo Morales, arrived on Tuesday in his hometown Orinoca, where he was received by his fellow countrypersons after months of being a refugee in Argentina after the coup d'état.
Morales thanked the population for their welcome, which he enjoyed accompanied by former Vice President Alvaro Garcia Linera, according to the media.
The leader ratified to the crowd that the coup against his government was to loot the country's natural resources; however, now the Movement Towards Socialism has recovered democracy and the political movement won 99 percent of the votes.
After returning to Bolivia on Monday, Evo Morales made a three-day trip to the Chapare area, in the department of Cochabamba, and as he has stated, he returned to the country to continue the struggle with his people and promote and deepen the changes initiated by the Arce government.
