It is not possible to talk about human rights without guaranteeing that children develop correctly and in Cuba there is practically no child malnutrition, there is no illiteracy, and that is essential, Almeida added.

The United Women’s Front of Guayas in Ecuador recognized the achievements of Cuban women in the Revolution and in the country’s scientific advances.

Progress in the field of biotechnology, which placed the country at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19, are social advances that allow Cuba to be an example to the world, Naomi Méndez, representative of this Ecuadorian feminist organization stressed.

She commented, that while in the world women struggle against gender violence and labor discrimination, Cuban women show figures that evidence unquestionable achievements in spite of multiple limitations imposed by the U.S. blockade.
