Cuba's Pymes Bulevar venture celebrated on Thursday its 2nd anniversary, an experience that brings together domestic entrepreneurship in a platform that allows entities to have their own website to gain a post in the electronic market.
CEO of Marketplace Pymes Boulevard venture, Yuli Massia, told Prensa Latina that it is an online store platform that grants private entrepreneurs, state-owned companies, and freelancers to coexist in an environment that provides the public with options in retail and wholesale schemes in different currencies.
The chief executive added that the platform uses 100 % Cuban software, developed by Guajiritos S.R.L., which safely enables some 60 suppliers to make payments from abroad or from Cuba, in foreign, national, and freely convertible currency; Wholesale as well as the possibility of having their own online store.
“We do not charge for the development of the online store, it is included in being part of the suppliers of our marketplace”, the CEO noted.
In the interviewee’s opinion, an enterprise by itself is already paramount, but attaching importance to competing online is also stunning.
Yuli Massia underscored that her venture is aligned with the country’s policies because it provided payment facilities to customers, such as bank discounts, which bolster the banking system, in addition to being integrated into national and international payment gateways.
