Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel, is leading a march in solidarity with Palestine, called by the Young Communist League (UJC) in Havana on Monday.
Participants gathered at Fragua Martiana and proceeded to walk to the Anti-imperialist Tribune, to denounce the genocide that the Israeli Government has been perpetrating for more than a year against the Palestinian civilian population and in other nations in the Middle East.
The demonstration is denouncing the complicity of the United States in the Zionist military onslaught that has killed more than 42,000 people in the Gaza Strip, including many women and children, and more than 2,000 in Lebanon.
Also present in the march are National People’s Power Assembly President Esteban Lazo and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, among other leaders, along with thousands of young people and Havana residents.
