Cuban ambassador presents style copies to the European Union

Ambassador José Antonio Fernández presented the Style Copies of his Letters of Credence as representative of Cuba before the European Union, the Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday.
Fernández presented the documentation to the Head of Protocol of the European External Action Service, Lucie Samcová-Hall Allen, according to the press release posted on the official website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting at the headquarters of the organization in Brussels, the diplomat expressed “the will to continue to promote bilateral relations within the framework of the Agreement on Political Dialogue and Cooperation between the European Union, its member states and Cuba,” the text adds.
Cuba and the European Union maintain relations based on political dialogue that promotes cooperation, respect for human rights and the development of joint responses to global challenges, among other things, according to official statements from both parties.
