Cuba raises to six the number of softball contracts in Italy

With the hiring of Anisley Lopez, Rosangela Jardines and Sarai Gongora, Cuban softball today raised to six the number of players contracted in the A1 series in Italy.
As revealed to Cubavision Internacional channel, Juan Reinaldo Perez, national commissioner, pitcher Lopez will play for Nuoro Softball, while catcher Jardines and centerfielder Gongora will play for Caserta, all of them in the Italian top flight.
For the stellar pitcher Lopez, from Villa Clara, this signing marks her return to Europe, after previous experiences in the Italian team Caserta (2014-2017), and playing most recently in the Guatemalan League.
In the case of the softball players, Jardines and Gongora will intervene for the first time in the old continent, after adding positive performances for Guatemala and Panama, respectively.
