The secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Roberto Morales, on Wednesday reaffirmed his country's will to strengthen ties with the Communist Party of Vietnam.
When congratulating Vietnam and its people on Lunar New Year, the party leader stated that in 2025, work will focus on the implementation of the consensus reached between the top leaders of the two political groups.
In 1969, Cuba became the first country to recognize the Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam. Since then, the two countries have developed ties characterized by solidarity and mutual respect.
Currently, Vietnam is Cuba’s largest investor from Asia and Oceania.
