British airline Virgin Atlantic to resume flights to Cuba

British airline Virgin Atlantic announced Friday it will reestablish its flights to Havana starting November 1.

On Facebook, the company highlighted the relevance of this tourist destination for its trips.

Virgin Atlantic already will offer direct routes between Heathrow (London) and José Martí (Havana) international airports on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in winter.

Thus, travel between the United Kingdom and Cuba will strengthen the tourist operations of both countries.

Historically, the UK has been among the top 10 countries that have sent tourists to Cuba.

In addition to sun and beach destinations, the British will explore urban and nature destinations.

Several tour operators and travel agencies, including Havanatour UK, offer tailor-made packages with attractive options to discover the charms of the Caribbean’s largest island.
