Ibero-American Festival Held for more than 20 Years

The 22nd Ibero-American Culture Festival will be held from October 24 to 30 and it will be dedicated to the cultural groups in its many variants and population mobility, organizers confirmed today.
As every year, the eastern province of Holguin hosts the event and each day will be a different reason for celebration: Feast of the seed (Oct 24), Party of Drums (Oct 25), Party of the Guitars (Oct 26), Festival of Solidarity (Oct 27) and the New People's Party (Oct 28).
On October 28, the traditional ceremony that pays tribute to the date on which Christopher Columbus reached Cuban soil will take place in Bariay key.
With the show Two Worlds, it will be remembered what happened on October 28, 1492, when a group of Spanish ships arrived for the first time to this land.
The 29 participants will travel to the coastal town of Gibara -in northern Holguín, along with 8th International Solidarity Artistic Brigade and members of the Hermanos Saiz Association, which brings together young Cuban creators.
