Iran Condemns Attack in Turkey, Urges Unity to Face Terrorism

In a statement released by the IRNA official news agency, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari sent his condolences to the families of victims.

Ansari also stressed the importance of a united fight against terrorism as "common global threat".

Turkey's deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus called Wednesday night the incident as an "attack on the entire country."

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, which was "well planned", as described by Kurtulmus.

Several Turkish analysts pointed as the main suspect is the illegal Kurdistan Workers' Party.
