Manuel Pellegrini Favourite to Replace Gary Neville as Valencia Boss

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is favourite to take over at Valencia when he leaves the Premier League club at the end of this season in July. With Gary Neville struggling in charge and only on a short-term deal, Valencia is looking at options for next season.

And with Pellegrini, who is experienced in La Liga, set to be replaced by Pep Guardiola at the end of this season, the City boss is now in pole position, according to UK Daily Mail.

The Chilean has a fine record in Spain, having taken Villarreal to the Champions League semi-finals and finishing second behind Barcelona in 2008.

Pellegrini turned down Mexico´s advances before moving to Malaga and reaching the Champions League for the first time in their history before City came calling.

He alredy had lead Villarreal, Málaga and Real Madrid.
