Cuba´s Interior Ministry (MININT) on Thursday reported that 33 irregular migrants have been deported from the United States.
According to MININT´s official website, two women and 31 men -who illegally entered in the United States- have been sent back to Cuba and arrived at the José Martí International Airport in Havana.
Out of the 33 returned migrants, 12 of them had illegally left Cuban territory by sea and the rest traveled abroad legally but then joined irregular routes to reach the United States, MININT reported.
This is the fourth deportation process of irregular migrants from the U.S., so as many as 260 migrants have been returned to Cuba so far.
