Türkiye condemns Israel’s brutal attack over Nuseirat refugee camp

Türkiye Foreign Ministry on Sunday described the Israeli military operation over the Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip as a savage attack, which left at least 274 Palestinians dead.

We deplore Israel’s aggression against the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza, which caused the death of hundreds of Palestinian civilians. With this latest brutal attack, Israel has completed the list of war crimes committed in that region, according to an official statement.

In the text released on X, Türkiye Foreign Ministry urged those institutions responsible for safeguarding international peace and security, including the UN Security Council (UNSC), to fulfill their duty and put an end to Israel’s crimes.

Such acts against humanity are under investigation by the International Criminal Court (ICC) because of Tel Aviv’s violation of the 1948 Genocide Convention.

Simultaneously, the Al Jazeera TV channel reported that the Israeli forces also razed a house in the city of Daradj, in Gaza, to the ground, and attacked the Zaitun and Sabra villages, among other actions.
