Shanghai celebrates marathon with strict measures for Covid-19

Beijing, Nov 29 (Prensa Latina) The Chinese municipality of Shanghai on Sunday held a marathon characterized by a reduced participation of runners, with no foreigners and with strict health measures to prevent new Covid-19 cases.

This new edition was only attended by 9000 people, a figure below the average one (38000).

The course covered was 42 kilometers, where runners left the start line in three separate groups and apart from health tests, they had to declare they did not travel to areas of the country with Covid-19 outbreaks.
