Cubasol opens doors to more projects at Fitur Madrid

The International Tourism Fair (Fitur) is about to close its doors this Sunday, leaving hopeful feelings for the Cubasol group and its numerous projects.

The purpose of the Cuban business firm is to create infrastructures and facilities that will complement the activity of the industry without chimneys in the largest of the Antilles.

Luis Martínez de Armas, president of Cubasol, explained to Prensa Latina that the company integrates all the extra-hotel companies of the tourism system, with the objective of guaranteeing recreation and leisure for the entire market.

“Regarding the projects that we have presented within Fitur, the notable interest of the business community in the content stands out, with the portfolios of business opportunities, of which we have 10 proposals,” he pointed out.

These are very broad, ambitious projects, associated with theme parks, marinas, shipyard activity, golf courses and an important group of initiatives linked to real estate development, he stressed.

Martínez de Armas highlighted that the portfolio of options presented at Fitur by Cubasol, caught the attention of important specialized companies with ties to international marinas, golf courses and also related to shops, restaurants and hotels.

There are experiences with a level of results in other places, and we have also signed agreements with some joint ventures, and we maintain negotiations at Fitur that we hope will bear fruit in the future, the head of Cubasol completed.

Previously, Martínez de Armas made a detailed presentation of 11 projects that seek to increase and diversify recreational offerings for visitors, with great attractions for foreign investment.

The “holding” detailed the plans for two Water Parks, one in Havana and the other in the resort of Varadero, where the expansion of the Plaza América complex, on the edge of the beach, is also planned.

Likewise, the Bahía Naranjo Park, in the eastern province of Holguín and close to Guardalavaca beach; remodeling and expansion of the Hemingway Marina in Havana; reconversion of the Ancón Nautical Base in Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to convert it into a Class C International Marina.

Five other projects are on the horizon, with emphasis on another Marina, golf centers, real estate and areas for multifaceted entertainment throughout the Cuban archipelago, including the Isle of Youth.
