Salvador Valdés Mesa Attends Coronation of Carlos III

Salvador Valdés Mesa, Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, attended today the coronation ceremony of the Majesty of King Carlos III, which was held at Westminster Abbey.

Valdés Mesa arrived in London last Friday at the head of a Cuban delegation to attend the ceremony, according to the website of the Island's Foreign Ministry.

During his stay in the United Kingdom, the Cuban leader will also participate in the activities organized by the British Royal Household and Foreign Ministry.

The delegation includes Ángel Villa Hernández, interim director general of Bilateral Affairs in the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Bárbara Elena Montalvo Álvarez, ambassador of the Island in the United Kingdom.
