Ramiro Valdes calls on Cubans to work side by side

Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ramiro Valdés urged Cubans to banish inertia, be more proactive and work in conjunction for the country’s sake, during a tour of industries in the central Villa Clara province on Friday.

The Commander of the Revolution visited the Fabric Aguilar Noriega Mechanical Productions Company, known as Mechanic Plant, with a view to verify the progress of programs of economic and social impact, as well as development projects that apply science and innovation on renewable energy.

Valdés described Mechanic Plant as a unique factory.

“This industry turns out essential for the country. We have to exploit all the industrial capacity and recover the traditional assortments,” he noted, and urged to generate exports and products for the domestic market.
