New Cuban rum brand to be launched today at international fair

 “Isla Grande”, a new brand of rum to be presented today at the 4th International Food, Beverages and Packaging Fair, under way in this city, highlights the know-how of Cuban rum masters, according to Karla Castillo Rodriguez, marketing and development director of Cuba Ron, S.A.

“This new rum represents all regions of the country, as nine masters were involved in its making. The aromas of Cuban rum come from the sugar cane spirit, and ‘Isla Grande’ is no exception: it is a reflection of a living culture in constant development but always protective of a 160 plus years-old tradition,” she pointed out.

This year, Cuba Ron S.A. dedicates its stand at the Fair to the guild of rum masters—founded in 2001—whose know-how was registered as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in November 2022.
