Mexico exhibits contemporary cinema in Havana

The Mexican Film Festival continues in the 23 y 12 cinema of this capital with a variety of representative films of the contemporary seventh art in Mexico.
According to the program, the film Mano de obra (2019)of David Zonana, will be the first to be screened at 2:00 p.m. local time followed at 5:00 p.m. by Morirse en domingo (2006) of by Daniel Gruener.
This Sunday, October 1, the Festival closes with the film El elegido (2016), by Antonio Chavarrías, followed by Sueño en otro idioma (2017), by Ernesto Contreras.
The screenings of the six films throughout the Festival will be accompanied by a broadcast of the renowned Noticiero Icaic Latinoamericano.
This film event inaugurated last September 27 brought to the Cuban screen six fiction films that offer a look at Mexico’s diverse socio-cultural scene.
