ICAP thanks messages of support and solidarity with Cuba

Matanzas, Cuba, Aug 10 (Prensa Latina) The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP, in Spanish) on Wednesday thanked messages of support and solidarity sent to Cuba for the Matanzas oil terminal deadly fire.

ICAP also thanked the €20.000 donation sent by the German NGO ¨KarEn e.V.¨ to counteract the damages, as well as the statement by the Greek Committee of International Democratic Solidarity towards the Matanzas people in face of the catastrophic accident.

ICAP also thanked a letter sent by the José Martí Cultural Association (ACJM, in Spanish) from Greece, by offering its heartfelt condolences to the Cuban people and government as well as to relatives of the victims.

ACJM wished a speedy recovery to injured people and assured that Cuba will win, like it has done in other similar situations.
