Heavy Rains Forecast for Western Cuba

Numerous showers, rains and isolated thunderstorms are forecasted for today by the Cuban Institute of Meteorology (Insmet), while the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with little rainfall.
 
It will dawn with little cloudiness in most of the country, with areas of fog and mist around inland areas. From the end of the morning, cloudiness will increase in the western region, according to the report.

In the afternoon, maximum temperatures will be between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius, higher in areas of the eastern interior. At night temperatures will be between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius, higher in coastal areas.

Winds will blow from the southwest in the west and center, turning from the northwest in the afternoon in the west, between 15 and 30 kilometers per hour, with higher gusts. In the east they will be weak variables, the statement says

The Insmet also states that there will be swells in the north western coast, while in the rest of the coasts there will be little swell.
