Entrepreneur’s lodging highlighted for tourism in Cuba

The latest developments in the Cuban economy allow guides and tourism professionals to highlight today a local entrepreneur linked to tourist accommodations.

Its director, the self-employed (TCP), Diosney Lobaina, said that the Cuban accommodation project Tu y Yo, which has a comfortable facility in this capital, opened about four months ago, which guarantees a stay for local tourism.

Lobaina indicated that this first establishment, located in the municipality of Arroyo Naranjo, is designed from one of the main needs existing today in the country, which is to have an accommodation to share or enjoy between couples due to the lack or disappearance of places of its kind in the city.

He said that they set up this facility thinking of raising and maintaining the quality of this type of room rental service for hours, days, or indefinite time, but with unparalleled comfort and prices more affordable to the reality of the salary received by Cubans.

In Cuba, today there are no accommodations for couples to rent and have a moment of privacy, or for people who travel from a province to the capital or vice versa and cannot find such an easy and cheap place to spend the night or a weekend, he insisted.
