Cuban institutions announce summer closing show

Havana, Aug 24 (Prensa Latina) Cuban cultural and sports institutions announced today the closing concert of the summer with Waldo Mendoza, Los 4 and Los Van Van, from the capital's Coliseum of the Sports City, on September 3.

According to a press release issued by the Empresa de Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales (Egrem), several mass and youth organizations and local governments developed a varied and entertaining program during the months of July and August.

The agenda, also coordinated by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder), includes this closing show in the central stage of the capital with the popular singer-songwriter, representatives of the urban genre and the Cuban machinery train.

Tickets for the show will be priced at 100 pesos and will be on sale at the ticket offices of the National Theater, the Casa de la Musica Habana and the Casa del Cerro, Egrem Studios 18 and the Pabellon Cuba.

The audience will also be able to purchase tickets at the Sports City itself on September 3, starting at 1:00 p.m. (local time) and during the concert accompanied by an attractive and innovative technological production.

The text also points out that the entrance to the venue will be from 18:00 (local time), the public will have access to gastronomic offers and cultural goods and to a show made up by renowned artists and actors of the series Calendario and the soap opera Tan lejos y tan cerca.
