Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister to pay official visit to Australia

Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodriguez will pay an official visit to the Commonwealth of Australia from Aug. 22 to 23, the Foreign Ministry announced today. 
 
Rodriguez’s agenda includes meetings with high-level officials, both from the Foreign Ministry and the Parliament of that country, and will hold meetings with members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society.

The visit will take place in the context of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both nations.

It will be an excellent opportunity to exchange on issues of common interest and ratify the will to strengthen bilateral ties, said the source.
