Mexico City, Oct 11 (Prensa Latina) An exhibition, auction and sale of Cuban art opened its doors today in Mexico City to benefit the victims of Hurricane Ian, which affected most the western province of Pinar del Rio.

The creator Daniela Aguila Travieso is its coordinator who, despite being the youngest artist in Cuba’s institutional gallery system, has been awarded several prizes and mentions in national events.

Her works are present in the important collection of Luciano Mendes Sanchez, representative of Banco Sabadell in Cuba and has been exhibited at the DA2 Museum in Salamanca, Spain and recently at the Vigo Foundation in Galicia.

Her works are also part of private collections in Spain, USA, Puerto Rico, Argentina, France and Italy, among others.

The artist is in Mexico for the exhibition and invited to participate in the Auction-Exhibition-Sales in benefit of the victims of the recent hurricane Ian in Cuba.

The event is being held at the Club de Industriales, JW Marriott Hotel, in the Mexican capital.
