Cuba at International Conference of Small Developing Islands

Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés arrived in Antigua and Barbuda at the head of the delegation that will participate in the IV International Conference of Small Island Developing States, the Cuban Foreign Ministry announced in X.
According to information published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX), the event, to be held from May 27 to 30, brings together high-level leaders every 10 years to discuss the priorities and objectives in the field of sustainable development of this specific category of countries, of which Cuba is a member.
At the same time, the Cuban vice-president will coincide with his official visit to this country recalling the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations, according to the MINREX note.
As part of the bilateral program, he will hold meetings with Cuban authorities, representatives of solidarity, Cuban residents, and collaborators.
The delegation also includes the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Anayansi Rodríguez; the Vice Minister of Public Health Reinol García; the Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Ernesto Soberón; as well as other directors and functionaries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
