After an intense weekend of performances, the International Havana Clásica Festival continues to develop its program in the main concert halls of the capital, with the participation of soloists, conductors and groups from 17 countries.

Habana Clásica has established itself as one of the main concert music events in Cuba. Under the artistic direction of pianist Marcos Madrigal, this fifth edition proposes again a bridge between the European classical circuit and the Havana musical movement.

The party began a week ago and will conclude on December 3, with a program that brings together outstanding instrumentalists from both sides of the Atlantic.

Presentations remain at the Minor Basilica of the Convent of San Francisco de Asís, the Theater of the National Museum of Fine Arts, the San Felipe Neri Oratory, as well as the Cuban Art Factory and the Ignacio Cervantes Ward.

The event, which has the support of the Swiss Cooperation, is sponsored by the Classical Havana Cultural Association based in Rome, Italy, the City Historian Office and the Cuban Institute of Music.
