La Paz, Dec 2 (Prensa Latina) Bolivian filmmaker Alejandro Loayza, who was nominated for the Ibero-American Goya Awards for his feature-length film "Utama," said on Friday that he is happy to travel to Cuba to present his fiction film.

“Participating in person at the 43rd Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana is a great joy and fills me with illusion,” Loayza told Prensa Latina a few hours before departing for Havana.

The moviemaker stated that it was a cultural event in which his father, renowned filmmaker Marcos Loayza, participated twice with his films. In 43 editions, he has many stories from which he heard wonderful things.

Loayza pointed out that the film has already participated in more than 60 international festivals and has received more than 30 awards.

This project, produced by his father and his brother Santiago, has attracted the world to a Bolivian story.
