Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba prepares gala of its summer workshops

The prestigious Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) company is preparing the closing gala of its 30th Summer Course, to be held at Teatro Nacional de Cuba's Avellaneda Hall in Havana on Sunday, August 11.
 
This will be the final performance of the second stage of these workshops, which are already customary in summer days and gather children of different ages and teenagers.

The company stressed in a press release that those attending the show could enjoy the premiere of some choreographies and the revival of other popular ones.

It also pointed out that this show is for the whole family to enjoy during this holiday period, dedicated to and performed by girls, boys, and young people.

Fusion dance, Ballet, Flamenco, Popular Cuban dances, Urban dances, Choreography, and Physical Preparation were some subjects taught by excellent teachers, including the company’s director Lizt Alfonso.

Founded in 1991, the LADC is one of the most prestigious Cuban companies at present. Its shows have been highly acclaimed on major stages globally, such as the City Center in New York and the Apolo Theater in Barcelona.
