President Joe Biden has, according to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, “faithfully” followed in the footsteps of his predecessor when it comes to relations between the US and Cuba Carlos Fernandez de Cossio.

“The meaningful part of the relationship – the economic blockade and the aggression against the Cuban economy – has not changed” since the former president Donald Trump left office, he told Bloomberg Television on Wednesday. “It has been faithfully applied by the Biden administration.”
