Stockholm, Jul 25 (Prensa Latina) The legendary Swedish group ABBA will premiere five new songs in 2021, the year in which they will make a holographic tour postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to press media.

In 2018, the popular band consisting of Benny Andersson, Anni-Frid, Agnetha Fältskog and Björn Ulvaeus, announced their intention to release two original songs which would be the first new material of the group in more than three decades.

According to the group, the two singles titled 'I Still Have Faith in You,' and 'Don't Shut Me Down,' would be released this year, but as a result of the novel coronavirus they decided to postpone their premiere, thus expanding the number of original songs.

'The decision to go ahead with the project had an unexpected consequence, the four of us felt that, after 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go back to the recording studio,' the quartet said.

The young version of the performers will be shown on the holographic tour scheduled for 2021, evoking the spirit of the 70s.

Renowned for memorable hits like 'Dancing Queen' and 'Money Money Money,' ABBA was the most successful group of the 1970s and early 1980s, ranking number one on the music charts and among the top 10 best-selling bands of the history.
