Singer Adele Tweets New Album is “25”

In a statement released on Twitter and Facebook, the successful London-based artist said her new album explores the person she has become over the years “without realizing.”

The diva’s previous two albums were entitled “19” (2008) and “21” (2011).

“My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record. I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did,” she revealed.

In the statement, the 27-year-old singer admits she feels she has spent her entire life “wishing it away. Always wishing I was older, wishing I was somewhere else, wishing I could remember and wishing I could forget too.”

In her previous studio album, “21,” which was released in 2011, with tracks like “Rolling in the deep” or “Someone like you,” Adele sold 4.6 million copies in the United Kingdom and 25 million worldwide, remaining for two consecutive years as the bestselling album.
