India's International Film Festival will see a record premieres

New Delhi, Nov 19 (Prensa Latina) The 50th edition of the International Film Festival of India, to be held in the State of Goa, will see 90 national premieres, 11 from Asia and six from other countries in the world, it was reported in this capital.
Meanwhile, the Icon of Golden Jubilee special award will go to superstar Rajinikanth during the inauguration of the event, reported All India Radio station.
The Festival will offer more than 35 master classes and talks for the first time, addressing themes such as film-making.
This year three silent films will be screened, accompanied by the music of pianist Johnny Best.
Attendees will also be able to see 17 documentaries and short films that were previously screened at the Mumbai International Film Festival.
The Golden Jubilee of the International Film Festival of India will take place from November 20 to 28 in Panaji, capital of the Indian State of Goa.
